February 6th & 7th 2023

The “Digital Tools for Dementia Caregivers” project has begun!

The first meeting was held in Florence, Italy and online. The objectives
of the project are the design, implementation, testing and evaluation of the impact of a new curriculum and a new methodology focused on the use of digital tools, with the aim of training family caregivers involved in assistance and in the care of patients with dementia.

The project will be implemented in the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Kosovo and Bulgaria. During the meeting were discussed the timeline, activities and implementation. Dissemination and quality were also parts of the discussions, and all partners are motivated to start working on the project!

We would like to thank our coordinator Stichting Amsterdam European Mobility – Adammob (the Netherlands), as well as all the partners, Stepp Strategie Servizi Sviluppo SRLS and Dementia care (Italy), Alzheimer Athens Association (Greece), ECSA Kosovo (Kosovo) and Foundation Compassion Alzheimer Bulgaria (Bulgaria).

June 1st 2023

A project meeting of the project “Digital Tools for Dementia
Caregivers” was held online. The project partners
discussed the activities and deadlines, as well as the implementation of
focus-groups with caregivers for the development of the training curriculum.

November 6th & 7th 2023

The second project meeting was in Athens. 

During the meeting were discussed the activities and their implementation, as well as the dissemination events that have to be implemented by the end of the project. The design of the training curriculum is in progress. In March 2024 will start the testing with 50 caregivers in each country (Italy, Kosovo, Greece and Bulgaria). Multiplier events will be organized in each country in September 2024 (on the occasion of the World Alzheimer Day).
